Stress and Anxiety has become a modern day problem for most of us. With our hectic lifestyles and worries about jobs, finance, children and such it is little surprise that so many of us have become anxious or depressed.
I use a combination of cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnosis to address the symptoms of anxiety. Antidepressants are prescribed frequently by GP’s and can help the patient but they do not address the root cause.
Effective counselling and or hypnotherapy is a great way to help you understand those issues that are worrying you. Hypnosis does not make your problems go away but can help you deal with them more easily.
If an anxiety goes unchecked it can easily lead to depression which can seriously impact quality of life. We often find ways to help us deal with anxiety or depression however these coping mechanisms often create more problems than they solve. Many coping mechanisms evolve into bad habits or phobias and hypnotherapy is an effective way of helping you eradicate these from your life.
